Bookings. When you make a booking you are accepting on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. Weekly Rentals are from Saturday after 4.00 pm to Saturday before 10.00 am. Short break arrivals are by arrangement.

Terms. Prices include VAT, central heating, a supply of logs, electricity, hot water, tea towels and bed linen.

Payment. A non returnable 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking and the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date. If a booking is made within a month of arrival, the full amount is payable. Payment is by cheque or cash only. Cheques should be made payable to Mrs S James and posted to Talgoed, Old Pencader Road, Llandysul, Carmarthenshire, SA44 4RT. When we have received your booking form and deposit written confirmation will be sent to you.

Cancellations. It is in your interest to notify us of cancellations in writing as soon as possible. Deposits and payments are not refundable. However if we are able to re-let cancelled weeks, we will make a discretionary refund of payments received less an administration charge. You are advised to take out holiday insurance against cancellation and unforeseen loses.

Restrictions.  We regret that the cottage is non-smoking. No pets are allowed at any time due to sheep and cattle in the surrounding fields.

Damage, breakages & maintenance. You are requested to report if anything is broken or damaged during your stay. It is only fair to the next people coming to stay that we have the opportunity to replace or repair any damage. Should you need replacement linen please ask rather than washing it yourself. Guests are expected to use the cottage with care and are fully responsible and liable for any loss or damage to the property or its contents.

Liability. The owners of the property do not accept any liability for any accident, damage, loss, injury, or expense, whether to persons or to property, which the tenants or any other persons may suffer or incur arising out of, or in any way connected with, the letting.

Departures. Departures please are strictly by 10.00 am. unless by prior arrangement. We ask you to leave the cottage clean and tidy. We reserve the right to charge for any extra cleaning if the cottage is left excessively dirty or untidy. You are responsible for any damages or losses sustained during your stay.

If for any reason beyond the owners control (e.g. fire damage) the property is not ready on the date booked, all rent and charges paid in advance will be refunded in full. The client shall have no further claim against the owner. The Owners reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions at any time without written confirmation.
